Author Guidelines

Potential authors are required to accompany their manuscript submission, which must STRICTLY adhere to the journal’s Template requirements, with a cover letter.


Submission Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors must verify their materials meet the following criteria. Submissions may be returned to authors if they fail to comply with these requirements:

  1. The material has not been previously published or submitted for consideration in another journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments for the Editor).
  2. The manuscript file is submitted in Microsoft Word format.
  3. The text is formatted with 1.15 line spacing, 12-point font size, and italics for emphasis instead of underlining. All illustrations, graphs, and tables are embedded in the text at appropriate locations rather than at the end of the document.
  4. The manuscript adheres to APA style requirements for text, formatting, and references.
    • Margins: 2 cm on all sides.
    • Font: Times New Roman.
    • Font Size: 12 points.
    • Paragraph Spacing: 6 pt between paragraphs.
    • First-Line Indent: None.
    • Orientation: Portrait, without page numbers or hyphenation.
  5. Formula Editor: MathType.
  6. Tables:
    • Styled in grayscale, without vertical lines.
    • Captions must appear above the table.
  7. Figures/Charts/Graphs:
    • Charts must be included in the text and also attached as Excel files.
    • Images must be submitted as separate JPEG files.
    • Captions must appear above each visual element.
    • If a table or figure reproduces content from a previously published work, authors must obtain permission from the copyright holder and include appropriate attribution in the figure legend.
  8. The abstract must be divided into subsections: Introduction, Зг, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  9. Keywords must be highly informative, typically comprising 2–3 words (e.g., blood insulin levels in children).
  10. In-text citations should follow this format: (Ivanov, 2019).
  11. The reference list must adhere to APA style, be presented alphabetically at the end of the article without numbering, and include English translations of titles and journal names for Russian-language sources.
  12. Minimum references required: 25. At least one-third of the references must be published within the last 5 years.
  13. A balanced proportion of Russian-language and English-language sources is required (50:50).
  14. The maximum allowable self-citation percentage is 10%.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
